Council approves sale of sdot surplus site to dunn lumber

In late September 2018, Seattle City Council unanimously voted approval for the sale of the SDOT property at 3819 4th Ave NE to Dunn Lumber. Since then, the City and Dunn Lumber executed a Purchase & Sale Agreement, with the sale closing in the Spring of 2019.

This is great news for Dunn Lumber, as acquiring this SDOT parcel and adding it to the adjacent Dunn owned parcels helps to make a better Dunn Lumber Headquarters Expansion plan and a more complete alignment next to the Burke Gilman Trail.

In 1907, we made a promise to the city of Seattle that we would always give our customers and employees a square deal. As a company and as a family, we take pride in our community.  And we remain dedicated to making sure the Dunn's headquarters expansion vision is a benefit to the city, our neighbors and our customers.

Our city has seen a lot of change in the last 110 years - but our dedication to keeping our family's promise remains the same!
